    Gilligan's Island is a charming 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom beach home that accommodates up to 9 guests. The beach is just a short walk or drive away, with direct access. This pet-friendly home requires a $125 nonrefundable pet fee. It's an ideal spot to enjoy quality time with family or friends!

    Location

    Gilligan's Island in Crystal Beach, Texas, is conveniently located at 934 S Cove Dr, Crystal Beach, TX 77650. It's just a mile from "The Big Store" grocery store, with a convenience store nearby. Plus, the popular Stingaree restaurant is right across the street! Lots of fun things to do!

    How many people can stay?

    Up to 9 guests can stay the night. 

    Amenities

    • Bedroom 1 (Master) - King-size bed, TV, dresser, nightstands, master bathroom, walk-in shower, cot available in the closet. 
    • Bedroom 2 - Queen bed, Twin/Full bunkbed, dresser, nightstands, closet
    • Full Bathroom for each bedroom with hair dryers in each
    • Half bathroom right next to the kitchen
    • Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes, Keurig (bring your own pods), coffee pot machine, electric griddle, toaster, waffle iron, ice cream maker, snow cone machine, blender, bread maker, and a kettle
    • 2 sofas (one is a pull-out full bed), flat screen smart TVs (to log into Netflix, Hulu, etc.), wireless internet, AC, and heater
    • Washer / Dryer, iron/iron board (please bring your own detergent to wash personal things)
    • Large, covered deck up top with outdoor patio furniture and white convertible picnic table 
    • Large concrete parking area/play area and large yard for your dogs 
    • Outside private shower with hot and cold water, beach toy bucket in the shower area
    • BBQ pit with some charcoal and lighter fluid (bring more if you plan on cooking every day)
    • Fire pit for campfires at night (please only start fires on the grass area, not under the house)
    • Direct Beach Access!!

    What We Provide

    We provide our guests with a "starter pack" consisting of

    • 1 paper towel roll
    • 3 trash bags
    • 1 dishwasher tab
    • 1 sponge
    • 3 toilet paper rolls

    Beds are made upon your arrival. The house has dish soap, hand soap, hand towels bath towels, a mop, and a broom. Paper products are not included.

    What You Need to Bring

    • All of these things can be purchased at the "Big Store" or Dollar General if you prefer to travel light
    • Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates (if you prefer), trash bags, plastic bags)
    • Insect repellent
    • Charcoal / lighter fluid
    • Coolers, beach tent, and chairs
    • Sunscreen and beach towels

    Booking Requirements

    We need your full name, contact information, current driver's license, and agreement to house rules. Rental user agreement must be signed and returned by email or mail before your stay. You must be 25 years old or older to book. For every four minors there must be one adult (over the age of 25) present at all times.

    How do I book?

    To book your stay at Gilligan's Island, send us an email containing the dates you would like to reserve. We will get back to you within 48 hours and send you the next step!

    Rates

    • Summer Season (May 1st- Labor Day): $1,600 weekly rate (cleaning fee included)
    • Winter Season (Labor Day- April 30th): $1,400 weekly rate (cleaning fee included) 
    • Weekly rates are Monday- Sunday or Friday- Thursday 
    • Check-in time is at 4:00 pm / Check-out is at 11:00 am
    • Extra charge of $125 for up to 3 dogs.
    • Security deposit is $250
    • We take credit/debit cards or checks 

    Rules and Policies

    • Any after-hour non-emergency calls, texts, or emails will be addressed the following day 
    • Events are allowed and must be disclosed
    • No parking on the Septic system
    • No parking on the grass
    • No fryers in the house, on the deck, or under the house, use them in the yard
    • No bonfires in the yard
    • No pets on the premises unless you have paid the pet deposit
    • No smoking or vaping indoors
    • Quiet hours are from 10 PM- 8 AM, please be respectful of others
    • A maximum of 9 guests can spend the night 
    • Pick up after your pet and do not allow them to do their business in other yards
    • Don't flush anything except toilet paper down the toilet
    • Treat this home like your own
    • Failure to return the key to the lockbox will result in a $50 charge


    Violations of rules and practices will result in eviction and forfeiture of all monies. 

    Things to do at Departure

    • Check-out time is 11:00 AM
    • Please make sure the key is returned to the lockbox. Failure to return the key will result in a $50 charge.
    • Please make sure all doors and windows are locked when you leave.
    • Make sure you have everything. Check drawers, closets, cabinets, and under the bed.
    • Please remove everything from the refrigerator/freezer that you brought.
    • Please DO NOT make the beds before you leave, the cleaning service will come in after you. 
    • Please put all your dirty shower towels on the floor in the laundry room.
    • Please sweep excessive sand.
    • Please wash, dry, and put away your dishes. This is necessary! Please do not put away dirty dishes.
    • Please empty all trash cans and ensure all trash is bagged and placed in the outside bin.
    • Make sure the thermostat is on 78 when you leave.
    • Turn off all the lights and TV’s upstairs and downstairs.
    • If you have broken something, please call us or leave a note so we can have it replaced.
    • Please Empty and clean the BBQ pit. Please pick up all trash outside and cigarette butts.

    Liability

    When renting this property, you assume all associated risks. If any damage occurs, you are responsible for the cost of repairs or replacements. The owner is not liable for any damage or loss of the renter's personal property. 


    Upon arrival, please inspect the house and notify us immediately if there are any issues. If something is broken, take a picture and send it to us. This will help ensure the return of your security deposit.

    Payment/ Deposit Terms

    • The security deposit is due within seven days of requesting the date to be held, if not received it can be canceled
    • Full payment is due 2 weeks before the check-in date. Failure to do so within 14 days before check-in will forfeit your security deposit 
    • The deposit serves as the damage deposit which you will receive 2 weeks after the checkout date if everything is left in the same condition it was found 
    • The renter agreement must be signed and returned to us via email or mail 
    • The lock box code will be provided to you one day in advance of your stay
